This rare glimpse of the feeding habits of the Great White Shark in and around the Inner Harbor waters of Baltimore was captured in the Spring of 1996 on the campus of Johns Hopkins University.

The hapless victim, a JHU frosh, was sunning herself on "the beach" when attacked from below by the C. charcharias which obviously mistook her for an indigenous pinniped.
